To help parents save toward their children’s post-secondary
education, the Federal Government through Human Resources Canada introduced
the Canada Education Savings Grant (CESG).
The benefits are the same,regardless of where you purchase
your Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP).

In 2004 the Federal budget introduced dramatic proposals to enhance the
Canada Education Savings Grant to provide greater support and recognition
for those parents saving for their child's post-secondary education.
In July of 2006 the Federal Government introduced a new funding
initiative called the Universal Child Care Benefit (UCCB).
We encourage every parent to use this money to enhance their child's
education funds and we have strategies tailored to effectively accomplish
this. |
